An author and TV personality will make a presentation Wednesday on workplace survival at Columbia Basin College as part of a joint event of the college and Western Governors University Washington.
Bob Rosner, author of Go Further: Beyond Survival -- Thriving in Today's Workplace and who's appeared on shows such as 60 Minutes, will present ways for Tri-City residents to further their careers.
The presentations will be at 1 p.m. in the Gjerde Center and 6 p.m. in the CBC Theatre on the college's Pasco campus. The event is free and open to the public.
WGU Washington also will be promoting two scholarships worth up to $2,000 at the event.
CBC President Rich Cummins sits on an advisory board for WGU Washington, which is a nonprofit online university. He said an increasing number of CBC graduates are going to WGU Washington to further their education after finishing at CBC.
