It has been a contentious election with excessive negative campaigning. I prefer candidates who stand for something. But I find a silver lining in the expansion of freedom found in same sex marriage and legalization of marijuana in some states.

We deem ourselves a free country, and now more people will be able to live their personal lives more freely. Expansion of freedom is a good thing.
