SUNNYSIDE -- Nicolas Melendrez, 63, of Sunnyside, died Nov. 8 in Sunnyside.

He was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas, and was a longtime Lower Valley resident.

He was a retired laborer in agriculture.

Smith Funeral Home, Sunnyside, is in charge of arrangements.
