Proposals taken to help farm, ranch families

The Western Center for Risk Management Education is accepting proposals for projects to help farm and ranch families.

Winning projects will receive grant awards between $5,000 and $50,000.

The application is available at westrme.wsu.edu under the "competitive grants program" section.

Pre-proposals must be submitted by 5 p.m. Dec. 12.

The application is open to all private and public groups, organizations and institutions with a demonstrated ability to develop, carry out and manage risk management projects.

All organizations serving agricultural producers are encouraged to apply.
