NWAACC soccer: CBC men's game moved to today at Chiawana

November 6, 2012

The first-round NWAACC men’s match between Columbia Basin College (11-5-4) and Pierce (8-10), which was originally scheduled for Thursday at CBC, has been moved to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Chiawana High School in Pasco because of unplayable conditions at CBC.

The winner of that match will travel to Edmonds on Saturday for the NWAACC quarterfinals.

The Hawks are seeking a return to the NWAACC semifinals for the first time since 2010.

The Walla Walla (13-2-3) women’s team will also face a first-round test at home against Clark (6-11-1) at 1 p.m. The winner will travel to Everett for a quarterfinal match Saturday.
