Beth Greene held up her end of a bargain she made with seventh-graders at Horse Heaven Hills Middle School in Kennewick on Monday, Nov. 5. Greene, a science teacher, challenged the 7th grade class to raise $500 more than the other classes for the schools annual walk-a-thon. The students raised $5,703 compared to the sixth-graders' $4,536 and the eighth-graders' $3,697, so Greene had to get a buzz cut from Vice Principal Tammy Hutchison as the seventh-graders had their lunch.
