The new Free Methodist Church in Richland at the corner of Wright and Symons Streets was built at a cost of $11,000 by the pastor, Rev. Marvin Ensign, and his congregation. Lumber salvaged from the Lexington Navy Chapel, Farragut, Idaho was used. Marvin suffered second-degree burns on his face and hand in an accident during the construction.
