Hermiston runners Alejandro Cisneros, Eduardo Juarez and Jose Macias swept the 3-4-5 spots Saturday at the 5A Oregon State boys cross country championships at Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore., leading the Bulldogs to a third-place finish.
Travis Neuman of Summit won the 5A boys race in 15 minutes, 29 seconds to lead his team to the overall championship with 33 points. Cisneros finished in 15:46, Juarez in 15:52 and Macias in 16:06.
Summit also won the girls title, edging Corvallis with 83 points.
Maggie Coleman led the Bulldogs girls team to a third-place showing, finishing fifth in 19:15. Teammate Katie Marwick wasnt far behind, finishing seventh in 19:20.
Grace Grim of Hood River Valley (18:40) won the girls race.
