2007: Kasey McNeill scored a pair of goals off long throw-ins from Cassie Arey and drew a second-half penalty kick to account for Southridge's third goal in a 3-1 win over Kamiakin that sent the Suns to the 3A state soccer playoffs for the first time in school history.

2002: McKenzie Burgess had 10 kills and four aces as Kiona-Benton made quick work of Othello 15-7, 15-1, 15-1 to secure an undefeated CWAC South volleyball season and 23-1 regular-season record. Meanwhile, Tia Newell had 10 kills and eight blocks and Lindsay Idler 24 assists as top-ranked Columbia-Burbank downed Dayton for a perfect SCAC East campaign.
