Washington State University Tri-Cities is sponsoring a panel discussion on "Arab Democracy Uprisings and New Challenges in the Middle East."
The panelists will be Steve Niva, professor of international politics and Middle East studies at The Evergreen State College; Larry Pintak, dean of The Edward R. Murrow College of Communications at Washington State University; and Hassan Ziada, a mechanical engineer and adjust faculty member at Washington State University, who was born in Egypt.
The event will begin at 7 p.m. today in the East Building Auditorium, 2710 Crimson Way, Richland.
