Military care package group to meet Saturday

The Mid-Columbia Make a Difference Day, which assembles care packages for troops, is scheduled for Saturday at the Holiday Inn Express near TRAC in Pasco.

The four-hour event begins at 9 a.m. with projects for all age groups. Lunch and T-shirts with be provided for volunteers, while supplies last. Organizers said they are expecting 300 volunteers.
