The Battelle Film Club in Richland offers Trollhunter, which was released in 2010 and has become a cult classic.
Based on Norwegian mythology, the film is now huge in U.S. movie mythology. The film got raves from critics -- and when one could find it -- audience acclaim.
Mostly done with hand held cameras and with excellent special effects for such a low budget flick, Trollhunter follows university students not believing that bears are creating havoc in their area. Their research leads them to a troll hunter who is employed by the government to do away with them.
Not quite horror, but not quite not horror, Trollhunter is a terrific, well done, very entertaining movie and -- if it's your thing -- highly recommended.
It will be playing one time only -- 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, at the Battelle Auditorium.
Mr. Movie rating: 5 stars out of 5
Rated PG-13 for mature themes, violence.

'Oblivion' good until it drifts off at the end
Man of Steel: It's a super disappointment
