By the Tri-City HeraldOctober 19, 2012

10:15 p.m. -- After trailing 14-0, Chiawana proceeded to run it down the throat of Southridge. Clifton Lozano ran 20 times for 121, and Austin Urlacher carried it 16 times for 154 yards.

9:59 p.m. -- Liberty Christian defeats Pomeroy by a devilish margin -- 66-6. Mike Olson tossed 6 TDs, three each to Tyler Morris and Brandon Peterson. Olson finished with 231 yards passing. Morris caught six passes for 137 yards. Peterson grabbed five for 78.

9:56 p.m. -- River View 33, Connell 0, F. If my math is correct, Connell has been outscored 80-0 in the past 2 weeks.

9:49 p.m. -- Chiawana and Richland clinch the Mid-Col's Class 4A regional playoff spots after Kamiakin barely hung on to beat Walla Walla 35-33 tonight.

9:46 p.m. -- Checking out the stats for the Royal win. The Knights scored 34 points in the 2Q against Burbank. Their longest scoring play on offense was a 20-yard TD from Alex Myrick in the 2Q. The Knight got a pair of defensive touchdowns.

9:43 p.m. -- @JoeOertel is calling another barn-burner. Johan Hoe's 6-yard TD run with 20 seconds left gets Walla Walla to within 35-33. The try for 2 points fails. It appears as if Kamiakin will hang on.

9:38 p.m. -- Le bummer for the Bombers. Hanford leads 24-14 with 3:48 left in game. Hanford was stopped on 4th and goal, then Richland fumbled at goal line on next drive. Joe Douglas picks it up and strolls in for score.

9:14 p.m. -- Jalen DeVine scores second TD of day with 11:23 left in game to give Hanford a 17-14 lead over Richland. DeVine now with 171 yds.

9:12 p.m. -- Got a game at Borleske. Darnell Handcox's 1-yard TD reception on 4th-and-1 from the 1. Kamiakin's lead has been trimmed to 35-27 with 8 minutes to play. @JoeOertel

9:09 p.m. -- Courtesy of @JoeOertel, Walla Walla opens the 4th with a 31-yard TD pass to Paul Gilmore. Kamiakin's lead is now 35-20.

9:05 p.m. -- Perhaps Kennewick will be speeding up the clock at Edgar Brown Stadium. The Lions lead Pasco 34-0.

9:01 p.m. -- Kamiakin enters the 4Q with a 35-13 lead over Walla Walla.

9:00 p.m. -- Southridge and Chiawana are tied at 14 in 3Q.

8:58 p.m. -- Kennewick is rolling over Pasco 28-8 in 3Q.

8:50 p.m. -- Royal defeats Burbank 47-0. The juggernaut that is Knights football posts its second consecutive 47-0 win. The running clock brings more mercy than Royal.

8:48 p.m. -- Kamiakin leads Walla Walla 35-13, 3Q after Kylle Robertson's 58-yard QB keeper.
