A car landed in a tree after drifting off the road this afternoon just before 1 p.m. at 22nd Avenue and Garfield Street in Kennewick. An older driver apparently lost control and drifted off the road, according to Kennewick police. His Honda CRV landed in the backyard of a home at 2215 Garfield. The driver was taken to Kennewick General Hospital with unknown injuries. Police say there was no evidence of recklessness.
