KENNEWICK, Wash. — Six Tri-City Outlaws scored goals in the first two periods Sunday in Kennewick, and the team held on at Toyota Arena for a 7-4 Northern Pacific Hockey League victory over the visiting Vancouver Vipers.
Tri-Cities rebounded from last week's 12-1 loss in Bremerton to West Sound by jumping out to a 4-0 lead behind goals from Aaron Questad, Chace Epler, Mikey Doubrava and Brett Myer.
After Vancouver got two goals back by Cameron Callaway, Jordan Tuttle and Riley Ollero scored for the Outlaws to close the first two periods at 6-2.
Doubrava added another goal in the third as Tri-Cities improved its record to 2-1-1.
The Outlaws return to action this weekend with home games Friday at Toyota Arena vs. Bellingham and Sunday vs. Vancouver.
