Football: Eastmont 37, Sunnyside 0

— Sunnyside’s Ramon Hernandez rushed for 101 yards on 17 carries, but the Grizzlies couldn’t get on the board in a 37-0 CBBN loss to Eastmont in East Wenatchee. Sunnyside’s Eduardo Salmeron went 10-of-22 passing for 102 yards and one interception.

Darin Hardgrove led Eastmont with 181 yards rushing on 18 carries with three touchdowns. He also caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Brock Grams.

The Wildcats control their own destiny for the playoffs, as they hold a one-game lead over Eisenhower and a two-game lead over Moses Lake and Wenatchee.
