Hebrew, Toray study classes offered in Richland

RICHLAND, Wash. -- Congregation Beth Sholom is offering two classes on Mondays this fall, Hebrew for Beginners and Torah Study from Women's Eyes.

The Hebrew class is for those who have little or no knowledge of Hebrew and will build a foundation that can be used for continuing with either biblical or conversational Hebrew.

The Torah class will study using the writings of feminist Torah scholars and discussion of the topics raised.

Both classes are at 7 p.m. on Mondays at Congregation Beth Sholom, 312 Thayer Drive, Richland. Classes are free for Beth Sholom members, $25 for others. There is a $5 supply fee. The classes continue through December.
