CARTER MITCHELL, Richland
I lately have heard a lot of talk about overreactive police. Some officers pulled a shotgun on teenagers who were just goofing around, a cop arrested an old lady for dropping a receipt on the ground, which is considered littering, etc.
Why is this? Is it faulty training? Are they taking their anger out on us? I don't know, but it needs to stop because one day I'm going to be riding a bike and have to stop. Then there will be a skid mark on the sidewalk and I'll serve time for vandalism.
