M. Barnes' letter on Sept. 20 prompted me to write. Her comment on the Goodwill store's prices being too high hit the nail on the head. I agree that they should be aimed at helping the lower income people who can barely afford to pay store prices.

This is why I have always given clothing to Tri-City Union Gospel Mission instead. When you donate there, you know it is putting the clothes right on peoples' backs who need help so desperately. As for other items, check out Columbia Industries.
