The fourth annual Rivers of Ink is Oct. 12-13 in Richland. The event features an opportunity for readers and writers to connect for meet and greets, writing workshops, panel discussions and book sales. The speaker is author Robert Dugoni.
"(Rivers of Ink is) one of the only places where readers and writers can talk to each other about the writing craft or reading preferences," said Ellen Tomaszewski, ROI committee chairwoman and Richland Arts Commission vice chairwoman. "Participants can discuss the inspiration behind books, get insights into the writing process or dissect their favorite genre."
Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 12 at the Richland Public Library and from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 13 at the Richland Community Center.
Admission is free.
