CLIF Bar's seasonal flavors are back for the 10th consecutive year -- Peppermint Stick, Spiced Pumpkin Pie and Iced Gingerbread.

All three seasonal flavors are made with organic ingredients. In the spirit of the season, this year CLIF Bar will donate 1 percent of net sales from the holiday-inspired flavors to Protect Our Winters, an organization that is committed to engaging and mobilizing the winter sports community to lead the fight against climate change.

"CLIF Bar fans tell us they look forward to the arrival of our limited-edition flavors as they mark the start of the much anticipated winter sports season," said Carly Lutz, brand director at Clif Bar and Company. "The classic holiday flavors evoke memories of their favorite seasonal pastimes and create excitement for upcoming outdoor adventures."

The limited-edition CLIF Bars join 16 year-round flavors, all made with organic ingredients. CLIF Bars are a good source of protein and fiber, which help the body digest carbohydrates slowly to deliver sustained energy.

CLIF Bars are also free of trans fats, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, artificial flavors, artificial preservatives and ingredients sourced from GMOs.

Each bar retails for $1.39, but expect prices to change depending where you go.

Gas stations usually sell a few flavors for at least 10 cents above retail, while stores such as Walmart and Target sell five- to six-bar boxes for prices that work out to be about $1 a bar. Holiday flavors also can be found at REI.
