The safe at the Grange Warehouse in Kennewick was blown open and more than $500 in cash and checks was taken.

The cracksmen knew what they were doing as the job was timed when there was a train on the N.P. tracks and the night police was off that beat. The door of the safe was completely blown off but a window above the safe was not scratched.
