2004: Jose Valencia, a 1999 Grandview graduate, scored twice and Julio Tapia scored the game-winner -- a cross-over dribble to elude three defenders followed by a 12-yard shot -- as Chivas picked up its fourth First Division title with a 3-2 beating of Morelia in Pasco Soccer League action at Edgar Brown Stadium.

1997: A week after Davis High School football ended a 28-year losing streak to Richland with a 27-24 overtime win, Wenatchee ended a 15-year winless drought with a 24-20 edging of the ninth-ranked Bombers at Fran Rish Stadium. The last time the Panthers defeated Richland was 1982 when Wenatchee emerged victorious by a 6-0 score on the same field.
