A free workshop is scheduled for Oct. 30 in the Bechtel Board Room at the Tri-Cities Business & Visitor Center, 7130 W. Grandridge Blvd., Kennewick.

The "Meet the Buyer: Doing Business with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers" session will run from 9 to 11 a.m. It is sponsored by Washington River Protection Solutions.

Attendees will learn how to sell to the Army Corps of Engineers, be better prepared to take part in the federal government marketplace, and meet with purchasing representatives from the ports of Benton, Pasco and Kennewick.
