October 6, 2012 - Loren Gruver, 8, tosses a paper airplane Friday during the Jason Lee Fly-Off at Jason Lee Elementary in Richland. Students conducted a paper airplane distance competition for the event, which was this year's science project for the school. Students learned to use the scientific method while designing their planes and had a chance to practice at home leading up to Friday's competition.
