AMERICANS: Tri-Cities wins on the road

Justin Feser and Brian Williams each had a goal and an assist, leading the Tri-City Americans to a 5-3 victory over the host Everett Silvertips on Sunday night in WHL action.

Tri-City built a 4-0 lead through the first 27 minutes of the game, then withstood a late Everett comeback. The Silvertips pulled within one with 3:28 remaining and had chances to tie it before Zachary Yuen scored into an empty net with one-tenth of a second remaining to seal it.

Parker Bowles and Beau McCue also scored for Tri-City (4-3-0-1), which took seven of a possible eight points from its stretch of four games in five nights.

Eric Comrie earned the win in goal with 19 saves.
