Published: October 6, 2012

RICHLAND, Wash. -- All Saints' Episcopal Church in Richland will offer a free workshop called "An Introduction to Centering Prayer" from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 13 with Chaplain Paul Fiorini of The Tri-Cities Chaplaincy.

Centering Prayer is an ancient form of Christian meditation, practiced since at least the fourth century, intended to deepen one's relationship and intimacy with God. Fiorini was trained in 1991 by Father Thomas Keating, a Massachusetts minister often credited with reintroducing the practice to modern-day Christians in the United States.

Bring lunch; beverages will be provided. A freewill offering will be welcomed.

To register, call 943-1169 or send an email to admin@all saintsrichland.org by Oct. 11.
