Football: Sunnyside rallies past Moses Lake

Published: October 6, 2012

Sunnyside 27, Moses Lake 24: For once it was the Grizzlies scoring in the final seconds to win a game.

Sunnyside, which lost to Southridge, Kamiakin and Kennewick in the final moments earlier this season, scored on an Eduardo Salmeron 5-yard run with 50 seconds left to beat visiting Moses Lake in a CBBN matchup Friday.

Justin Simmons scored for the Chiefs to take a 24-20 lead with 4:25 left, but the Grizzlies responded behind their speedy quarterback. Moses Lake 10 7 0 7 — 24

Sunnyside 7 6 0 14 — 27
