2007: Hanford freshman Erin Hegarty finishes fifth at the Richland Invite, clocking in at 18 minutes, 37 seconds, well off the record pace of Shadle Park's Andrea Nelson, who won in 18:11 to become the day's second repeat winner. Lake Steven's Joey Bywater went back-to-back in the boys race in 15:06.

1992: Sarah Plum booted in three goals, two during a three-goal, five minute flurry that lifted the Hanford girls soccer team to a 6-1 win over West Valley of Yakima. Across the river, Kamiakin's Sara Privette scored three goals and Ari Skorpik two as Kamiakin topped Pasco 7-0, holding the Bulldogs without a shot.
