Two Sunnyside men allegedly trying to sell a stolen vacuum on Craigslist were nabbed by Richland police officers posing as buyers.

An iRobot Roomba vacuum was stolen from the Kohl's store in Richland last week and the store loss prevention manager called police after spotting a Craigslist posting for the same item, authorities said.

Officers with Richland's Street Crimes Unit contacted Isaias V. Flores and Robert Perales at the Conoco station in Benton City and arrested them after they tried to sell the Roomba.

Additional evidence was found in Flores' vehicle, including cellphone and other stolen merchandise from Walmart and Kohl's, police said.

Flores, 26, and Perales, 27, were charged in Benton County Superior Court with one count of first-degree trafficking stolen property. Their trials were set for Nov. 19.
