Sam Reed, the outgoing secretary of state, will tour the Richland Public Library from 3 to 4 p.m. today as part of his "farewell tour" of Washington.
The Secretary of State office oversees the state library and state archives. Reed has been a supporter of public libraries. As part of his stop, Secretary Reed will discuss his vision for public libraries in Washington.
A public reception will be held in the Doris Roberts Gallery at the Richland Public Library, beginning at 3 p.m.
