MOSES LAKE -- More than 20 businesses will be attending the Big Bend Community College's annual fall hiring event.

Among the exhibitors are Frito Lay, Grant PUD, Crown Moving, Simplot, Chinasoft, Aerotek, Aviation Technical Services, Independent Electrical Contractors, Fastenal, ResCare Home Care, the U.S. Dept. of State, Staples, Lowe's, D&L Foundry, Takata, Safeway, National Frozen Foods Corp., Odessa Memorial Health Care Center, SkillSource, WorkSource, Colville Confederated Tribes and Central Washington University.

Participants will be able to meet with representatives and learn more about employment opportunities.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 17 in the college's ATEC building, 7662 Chanute St., Moses Lake.
