I have sent, every year, for over 10-15 years a listing of Washington's rank in produce hoping that the paper would print it, but it did not happen. Your articles were more than I ever hoped for.

Did you know that Washington is the fourth-smallest state west of the Mississippi River, yet is No. 3 in produce behind California and Florida -- and that is for the entire U.S.A.? I have sent this listing to people and schools in California, North Dakota and Montana. Some by request.

Aren't we all proud of Washington?!
