2007: Carly Ross had 19 kills to lead the Columbia Basin College volleyball team to a sweep of Wenatchee Valley and a 19-0 start on the season, including 11 sweeps.

2002: Lyndsay Maciboba had 12 kills and two blocks to lead Kennewick to a sweep of Moses Lake, earning the Lions their fourth Big Nine volleyball win of the season, the most conference wins they'd had in a decade.

1970: Gene Paul, age 70, aced the 12th hole at Riverview Golf Course.
