Richland's Lisa Bratton and Hanford's Lisa Tixier were double winners Tuesday, but the Bombers hauled in the bulk of the top finishes in a blustery Mid-Columbia meet at Prout Pool.

"Worst swim weather in 18 years I've been coaching," said Richland/Hanford coach Kathy Piper, noting that Bratton's state-qualifying time of 5 minutes, 10.57 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle was an "amazing swim considering the wind."

Bratton won the longest and shortest (50 free) races, while Tixier took the 100 fly and backstroke. But Richland swimmer won all the relays and six of the eight individual events decided in the pool: Vanessa Wattam (200 free), Nicole Weinman (200 IM), Sarah Olsen (100 free) and Kaylyn Lesser (100 breast).

Kamiakin finished 1-2 in diving, with Danielle Brandon posting the top score.
