2007: Kamiakin senior Emily Jepsen had 17 kills and four blocks to lead the Braves to a win in four sets for Hanford in Columbia Basin League volleyball. Kamiakin came back from a 13-5 deficit in the final game against the Falcons, led by Brittany Quick's 24 kills.

1997: Adam Tenforde and Jeremy Dawson finished 1-2 to lead Hanford to a sweep of Selah and Sunnyside in Mid-Valley cross country. Tenforde finished the 3-mile course in 16 minutes, 19 seconds.

1992: Leo Slack ran for 137 yards on just seven carries, including touchdowns of 23 and 62 yards, to lead Kennewick football to a 70-6 blowout of Moses Lake at KHS Stadium. A week after throwing for five TDs in a win over Richland, the Lions rolled up 425 yards on the ground as Ted Homme's bunch improved to 4-0, 3-0 in the Big Nine.
