Is our economy improving?
According to Obama, our nation's economy is now improving after the Democrat administration's management during the past three-and-a-half years. This has been accomplished by federal spending of $5 trillion of deficit spending.
What do you think would have happen if we did not have such deficit spending? Let's face it; we all like the benefits of this spending.
Obama's daily stated approach to deficit reduction is to take the money from the rich and provide even more benefits to us all. This is called redistribution of wealth for a more fair and equitable society.
And yes, I agree, the rich definitely must pay more out of their billions.
Obama, Sen. Harry Reed and Rep. Nancy Pelosi say this is their major one goal.
The government cannot get tax revenue from those who are out of work or on food stamps or from the unemployed college graduates or the low-income workers.
Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray are doing their best to get more of our desired benefits for all the citizens of this state regardless of the source of the funding.
Nobody ever talks about reducing some benefits. Nobody talks about reducing our foreign commitments (like Afghanistan).
Let's give Obama the four more years he needs to implement his great fair and equitable society. Sincerely?
