Ams fall to 1-3 with road loss to Chiefs

SPOKANE -- The Tri-City Americans erased deficits of 2-1 and 3-2 before eventually falling to the Spokane Chiefs 5-3 at Memorial Arena.

Justin Feser scored 11 seconds into the game to give the Ams a 1-0 lead. The Chiefs scored the next two goals before Malte Stromwall evened it up at 2 with 14:48 left in the third period.

Spokane's Mitch Holmberg scored three goals in the third period, including the final goal of the game with 2:36 left in the game to give the Chiefs a 5-3 lead.

Tri-City goalie Eric Comrie stopped 26 of 31 shots.
