Tri-City native Roger Burke will sign copies of his latest book, Riding A Gray Ghost Over America, from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at Hastings books in Richland.

Critics describe Burke's stories, about his journeys across America and abroad, as touching on the mood and sentiments of ordinary Americans in the same vein as John Steinbeck did in his book Travels with Charlie.

His other books include A Home in Bohemia and Wilson's Exile.
