Americans extend Parneta's contract

September 25, 2012

The Tri-City Americans extended the contract of prospect development coach and head scout, Barclay Parneta, through the 2014-2015 season.

“Barclay has done a tremendous job for our organization,” Tri-City general manager Bob Tory said in a news release. “I’m very proud to keep him as part of our team moving forward.”

Parneta, who joined Tri-City in August 2010, is in the midst of his third season with the club. Prior to joining the Americans, Parneta spent seven seasons as an amateur scout in the NHL, working five seasons with the St. Louis Blues before moving onto the Phoenix Coyotes.
