Kennewick — Three Kennewick teens were arrested on suspicion of destroying property and shoplifting Saturday night after spray-painting their shoes red and then walking through the Walmart parking lot.

Damien T. Fisher, 19, Tyler L. Dell, 18, Chandler M. Mixer, 19, were booked into the Benton County jail.

Kennewick police were dispatched to the Walmart parking lot at 2720 S. Quillan about 7:40 p.m. for reports of a reckless vehicle, a gray Toyota Celica.

Upon arrival they found the car, driven by Fisher, illegally parked in a handicap parking spot.

Officers determined the three men had been painting outlines of their shoes as they walked through the parking lot with red spray paint.

The three also reportedly stole several items from Walmart and then attempted to return the items for a refund.

All three were booked into the Benton County jail for destruction of property and shoplifting. The retail theft case is still under investigation.
