Illegal mushroom grow found in Moses Lake

MOSES LAKE, Wash. -- A psilocybin mushroom growing operation was taken down by Moses Lake police during the weekend.

Grant County sheriff's deputies and Washington State Patrol troopers also helped served a warrant Sunday at a home in the 2000 block of South Division to search for drugs, authorities said.

The psilocybin mushroom grow was found inside the home.

Daniel R. Simpson, 25, was arrested and booked into the Grant County jail on suspicion of manufacturing illegal drugs.
