Cross country: New state poll out

September 18, 2012

The new Washington State Cross Country Coaches Poll is out, and there is not much movement among the area teams with one exception.

The Walla Walla boys and girls slipped out of 4A consideration after being ranked 10th (boys) and receiving votes (girls) in the first two polls.

The Richland girls remain sixth in the 4A ranks, while the Kamiakin boys (second) and girls (fourth) held steady in 3A voting.

The Royal boys received votes in the 1A, while Tri-Cities Prep is second in the 2B/1B boys poll and Bickleton received votes. The TC Prep girls are ranked fourth.
