SAN DIEGO — Dave Villwock cranked out the top qualifying time of the day at Bayfair in San Diego, guiding the U-1 Spirit of Qatar 96 to a time of 162.118 mph, which topped Steve David in the U-6 Oh Boy! Oberto (157.98) by nearly five seconds.
