Benton City has a black bear with a yen for grapes. Game protector Mitch Kershaw has photographed the bruin in a grape vineyard along the river and found 20 places where the bear bedded down for the night.
He routed the bear with dogs, but when they got too close and were swatted, he backed them off. The bear has since fled to the hills.
