Parents of first-year students at Columbia Basin College are encouraged to attend a Parent First Year Introduction program at the community college Thursday.

The program will be at 6 p.m. in the HUB building in the Congress room on the Pasco campus.

The program will focus on how parents can support their student as he or she pursues an education.

Student expectations, academic honors, deadlines and other key information will be discussed.
