KEIZER, Ore. -- Stephen Branca's two-out, bases-loaded single plated Trevor Brown in the bottom of the 13th as the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes defeated the Tri-City Dust Devils 7-6 in the final game of the Northwest League regular season.

Derek Jones' two-run double in the top of the ninth pulled Tri-City into a 6-6 tie.

The Dust Devils used six pitchers to reach the 13th, with Taylor Reid, Trent Blank and Michael Wolford each throwing three solid innings.

Tri-City completed the season with a 32-44 record, third in the Northwest League East Division. Salem-Keizer finished last in the West Division with an identical 32-44 mark.

The Northwest League playoffs begin Monday with the first-half champion Yakima Bears headed to Boise to open their best-of-3 series. The series moves to Yakima on Tuesday, which could be the Bears' final game at Yakima County Stadium.

The Bears franchise is expected to move to Hillsboro, Ore., beginning with the 2013 season.
