Great Gear: Polyester/spandex dress goes from yoga class to dinner table

By Shelby Sheehan Bernard, McClatchy-TribuneAugust 16, 2012

Women across the country can now give their yoga pants a break.

The activewear company ISIS has developed the ultimate invention: a cute dress that can be worn for a variety of outdoor activities.

While many dresses are marketed as such, they quickly show otherwise.

However, the ISIS Dash dress lives up to the hype with an abrasion resistant fabric that's lightweight, stretchable and UPF 30.

The cut of the knee-length, sleeveless dress is flattering to most body types, hugging curves while including an elastic waistband to adjust for fit.

It also includes three small buttons at the neckline for a finished look. This makes it a versatile go-to outfit for nonsporty occasions as well.

The dress is made from a soft polyester/spandex blend fabric that moves with you while resisting the snags so common to an active lifestyle.

The fabric's tight weave provides sun protection while also remaining breathable for heat and moisture to escape.

Adding to its functionality, the dress includes a zippered pocket for small-item storage.

Shoulder-to-hem measurement is 36 inches.

The dress is offered in sizes small to extra large and available in three colors: lollipop (pink), sprout (green) and ocean (blue).

Price is $79. To purchase online or find a list of retailers, go to www.isisforwomen.com.
