PORT LUDLOW, Wash. -- Nick Mandell of Kennewick, Richland's Drew McCullough and Walla Walla standout Ryan Baumgart are among the first to tee off Monday at Port Ludlow Golf Club in the 58th Pacific Northwest Junior Boys' Amateur Championship.

The field features 128 of the Northwest's top junior golfers, who will compete through Friday for the championship.

Among the top entrants are Greg Gildea of Vashon, Wash., who made it to the Round of 32 in the 2012 Pacific Northwest Men's Amateur last month, and Spencer Weiss of Sammamish, Wash., who fell one stroke shy of qualifying for the U.S. Amateur during qualifying last week at the RMG Club at Oakbrook.

Port Ludlow Golf Club was designed by Robert Muir Graves, who also served as the architect for Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland and Sun Willows in Pasco.
