The Washington Force Black faces an elimination game today at the USA/ASA Girls Class A 16U Fastpitch National Championship in Montgomery, Ala.
The Force fell 2-1 to the Vienna (Va.) Stars in bracket play Wednesday, scoring its lone run on a Maddy Jones sacrifice fly in the sixth.
The Force will try to keep its tournament hopes alive when it plays Lazers Gold of Canton, Ohio, at 7 a.m. today.

The victory came a day after the Force suffered an 8-2 loss to KG Hitters Tracy in Roseville.
10U Western Nationals: With a 6-1 loss to Bonita Valley (Calif.), the Tri-City Fuzion finished 1-1 in pool play in Spokane.
The Fuzion rocked the Spokane Stealth 27-2 in five innings Tuesday.
The Fuzion will face the Goleta Thunder of California at 4 p.m. today in bracket play at Merkel Park.
